Standard Issue Super Heavy T-Shirt
Here are TRiCKETT we are constantly in pursuit of the perfect, super heavy t-shirt. We came pretty close with the Shaka Wear t-shirts (which are ace and available here) but we always wanted more. We have some pretty specific stipulations when it comes to a super heavy t-shirt and we feel that these tops have met them all. This is about as heavy as you can get before it becomes a sweatshirt.
These beauties are manufactured entirely in the USA from a super beefy 9oz jersey, they were once standard issue for the US army, but as with most things, the t-shirts became poorer quality using man made fibres. The tops remind me of exactly the weight and fit of the t-shirts I used to bring back by the suitcase load in the ’90s during my trips stateside.
Ours come in a slightly oversized fit and a super rugged collar. I don’t ever want to take mine off and I think you’ll be the same. Make sure to take a look at the size guide to be certain of your size and if your sizes does sell out super quick, don’t worry, this will be a classic style that we will repeat.
Made in Los Angeles California by one of the last remaining factories that spins, knits and manufactures all in one place. Every member of staff is paid at least $15 per hour too. They are then hand printed by Jim in Yorkshire.
