The Ferdinand is everything that we look for in a shirt. Granddad collar, Rachael buttons, pop over and made from an amazing cloth (seriously, you need to feel this cloth, it is beautiful!!!). When you add in that it is based on the original proportions of the long sleeved Newcastle 1995-97 home shirt you are on to a pretty huge win for us.
The shirt is a classic pop over style in a blue and white striped cloth (bengal stripe) with a half shirt placket and a granddad collar. The actual cloth itself is best represented as regards colour by the up close shot in the pictures. The shirt is a relaxed fit (but by no means baggy) and can be worn on its own or underneath a jumper (see the images, I like to wear it like that). So a shirt in a lovely fabric, based on an iconic football shirt, made in Lancashire with some ace buttons. If you don’t go for that, then we are all scuppered!
